The Papillon is one of Louis Vuitton's Classic designs. First released in 1966, it remained largely unchanged until recently and a very different version has been released.


I was so excited to unwrap this gorgeous version when it arrived, complete with authentic Box and Dust Cover!

For those who are interested… The Chocolate coloured boxes were introduced in 2003 and replaced with the “Imperial Saffron” in 2016. At the time Michael Burke, Chairman and Chief executive officer, Louis Vuitton, suggested that the Chocolate Brown may have been “a tad too masculine” and not “as joyful” as the Saffron!
